  1. Lostjetty - 8.75
  2. XmackennaX & Green_Lady_M - 8
  3. ANIYAH-XXXX & AshleighDana - 7.83
  4. Alma1902 - 7.58
  5. ASB10 - 6.75
This week's much deserved winner is LostJetty! This tasks' scores were so close, we had not one but two ties. Unfortunately, though, we do need to have an elimination - and with the lowest score, that means we have to say goodbye to ASB10 . We hope to see you compete again!

Note - Leigh did not comment, but did provide ratings, as she had an exam this week.

Alma1902 - 7.58

FONTI - I really like your outfit and the pattern looks very accurate, still it is in the top options of catalog right now as it is a fresh release and using both of them skirt and top, makes me think that you didn't want to put too many efforts on the task, you went on the easy way. Also, no layers no tricks. However you look like an YSL real life model and the boots with their static is a smart choise. Please add a short description next time.

LUCY - Like Fonti mentioned, using the top and bottom together like they originally were seems like a bit of a cop out. I like the minimal but interestingly shaped layers of the top half, but the boots are hideous and need to go.

Lostjetty - 8.75

FONTI - This animal print paper is the last I would choose, however you styled your look in a very good way. You keep your animal print outfit quite and smooth. Very well combined tones. I like it!

LUCY - I think you captured this print very well with the skirt, and I like that most pieces are designed to make you look at the bold print, while still retaining texture throughout. The ginormous bag even looks good, and that's a hard thing to pull off proportionately.

XmackennaX - 8

FONTI - You chose the most beautiful pattern and perhaps the most difficult one! You submitted a decent and fine as-pretty-as-paper outfit. I don't quite know the clothes you wear so I can't say if you have some smart layers or just the basic ones. However, your look has a good affection on me.

LUCY - You definitely chose a difficult print, given the total lack of colour, and I think you did a wonderful job with it. I love the layers and different textures, and how you put thought into making it more casual, because like you said, it could have gone 'wedding' instead very easily. I love the gold additions!

ASB10 - 6.75

FONTI - I'd never find by myself what paper was your inspiration. All that nude tones and skin and the fragility and then in contrast with all the tattoos and the over-the-knee-boots and the denim... It just don't work at least for me! You also have misfits here & there. What I like the most is your yellow color pops. Please add a short description next time.

LUCY - I can somewhat see where your inspiration came from - the colours are sort-of there, and the shorts reflect the texture somewhat. But as an outfit... this just feels, well, mismatched. The boots are very 'runway/kardashian', she shorts are very childlike and summery, and the coat is a kind of casual-glam mix. The singlet could go either way. I just don't know where I'd see this look together, which is unsettling.

ASHLEIGHDANA (C) - 7.33 + 0.5 = 7.83

FONTI - You went for a difficult pattern lady. It's not a pretty bad outfit, but it's not a pretty good one either. You combined the colors less or more but in a much louder way than in pattern. I'm not sure about the layers, are these 2 tops or 1? 2 skirts or 1? I'd look out for some mint colored clothes. And the bag is not the right one!

LUCY - I think you had a good go at a very difficult print. You've definitely captured the colours, and to an extent the texture, but as far as the outfit goes it's not the best - though not the worst, either. I feel like it's simultaneously too much colour, and not enough layers.

GREEN_LADY_M (J) = 8

FONTI - Cool pattern comes with a cool look. It has something from a student paper so I think your interpretation has a point! It don't look like the pattern but it sense like the pattern. Like a crazy teenage girl. I like it a lot!

LUCY - I like that you didn't take the pattern quite so literally, but it's still very obviously incorporated in the look, and I like the prepster concept. I probably would have ditched one of the bags, they're giving off very conflicting vibes.

ANIYAH-XXXX (A) - 7.83

FONTI - This entry is my favorite one. One of the hardest choices, yet you interpreted it with such a fine and delicate way! The result is so elegant. I can overlook the lack of layers because the styling is awesome. In love with it! A-mazing chandelier earrings!

LUCY - I like this well enough, but it feels quite plain compared to the other entries. I like the different elements you used to convey the pattern as lace rather than just using a print.

  1. AshleighDana - 9.25 + 0.5 = 9.75
  2. LostJetty - 9.20
  3. XmackennaX - 8.25
  4. ASB10 - 8.125
  5. Alma - 7.79
  6. Aniyah-xxxx - 7.38
  7. Green_lady_m - 7.33
  8. Bueno-koekje_xx - 7.29
AshleighDana is on a roll, taking out first place once again! Unfortunately, that means we still have someone to say goodbye to - and this time, it's Bueno-koekje_xx. Congratulations for making it this far, it was definitely a difficult round to judge and we look forward  to seeing more of you sometime soon!

AshleighDana - 9.25

LEIGH - I absolutely L O V E this look in greyscale!!! The peeking out lace is cheeky, the skirt hem addition looks really good and the details are well picked out. In monochrome the colours look really random but in a weird way they don't actually look all the bad at all, I just never would have put a yellow-blue skirt with well, any of those other colours, and the resulting grey look just takes the cake away compared to it. Awesome!
FONTI - There's something weird in this outfit that I like. It looks super cohesive in greyscale. I'm not that sure about the skirt hem but layer is appreciated. Also not that sure about the booties and the belt placement. When the lights turn to normal, I adore you, all eyes are on you!

LUCY - Like the other judges, I just adore this look! It's really quirky and unusual, with lots of layering and simple details added in. The colours are super obnoxious and in-your-face, but it looks so glam in grey which is amazing. The bag isn't super selling it for me, but it doesn't look bad.

ASB10 - 8.125

FONTI - I like the look at first sight. Judging I have to keep in mind that this cycle's team is evolving rapidly with complex looks and it somehow stays behind in this round. It is very cool with lights on to normal but there are not any huge surprises.

LEIGH - When the coloured version loaded first I cringed so hard at it, but really, other than the pink bag the blue and orange don't look bad at all. For the monochrome version, I have a personal vendetta against those shoe-legging things but the fact these are SPARKLY on the grey version makes it so much worse, reminds me of hair legs for some reason. Other than that the bag is just... not fitting, the look is so formal otherwise and then you have a boombox? I don't get it. But the body of this is really nice, the prints and textures look a lot of fun without colour.

LUCY - I think I have to agree with my fellow judges on this one. The only real 'wow' here is the colours, blue and orange are unexpectedly bold and do actually look good - but they don't look any better off in monochrome, which was the goal of the task.

LostJetty - 9.20

LEIGH -  This is the kind of look I was really hoping for, for sure! The layered skirts look like they were meant to fit together when they're grey, but with colour it's 'oh, oh now... what is even going on here?" and I love that. The bulky handheld pieces cover too much though, I'm guessing your wanted to hide something but I don't know if you get away with it.

FONTI - Under a grey scale or normal lights, I'm buying your outfit! Very sophisticated look and great mixing & matching. Many patterns, layers, colors. Great style indeed!

LUCY - I love that you went the 'totally custom' route. I think the skirt looks very uique and interesting in grey, and absolutely ridiculous in colour, which is awesome. What I don't like so much is the top half, it's just too bulky - especially with, as Leigh pointed out, the also-bulky handheld bits.

Alma - 7.79

LEIGH - I'm not really sure the furry... thing (?) you've got layered is really working out for you, and it's really the only unique thing about this. I don't not like it; I'm just not really impressed with it.

FONTI - Very austere look, I really like it in grey scale! I love the way you layered the 2 blazers. Other than that, there are not any surprises not even when the lights turn to normal. Maybe tights or belt or a more in-fashion bag would help.

LUCY - No surprises here, really. The colours aren't bold, clashing, or unexpected at all, which means the grey outfit doesn't look much better than the coloured one, other than maybe the layered jackets. The fact the blue and red match your earrings make it even less exciting.

Bueno-koekje_xx - 7.29

LEIGH -  The colours... almost go together. Which wouldn't be a major problem if they looked better in monochrome which is the goal of the task, but I feel like they don't. And again with the two lots of super baggy oversized combos, they're really unflattering. The top half has got a lot of potential, I like the paris style layers.

FONTI - I love the lace intimate underneath this stunning blouse, the belt, the handbag. I would definitely go for socks with these shoes and I'm not sure that the scarf was a good choice. That pair of jeans is unflattering and even in grey scale its dark tone makes things worse.

LUCY - As someone who absolutely abhors colours that almost - but don't quite - match, I definitely think this looks better in monochrome. I really like the patterned top, and layered lace piece. But yet again, it's baggy item on baggy item, and it's not flattering regardless of colour scheme. The bag also seems to blend into your pants a bit!

XmackennaX - 8.25

LEIGH - The coloured one almost looks like two separate, bold looks got smashed together, one on the top and one on the bottom, which is an interesting result. I like the monochrome one a lot better which is the idea, the textures really shine and you loose the clashes, but I would have liked to see some layers somewhere.

FONTI - Undefined look, a description would be so necessary! That is not a street style if you ask me, however I appreciate the way you tried to interpreted a look with such difficult items. I prefer it with the lights in normal mode cause in grey scale it looks cohesive but it doesn't make sense, as it is a crazy outfit.

LUCY - I see Cycle' 1's Queen Of Neon is back in action once again! Like Leigh, I feel like the coloured version looks like two separate, eye-watering looks - and the monochrome makes it one, distinct, over-the-top outfit. I definitely think it's street style, it reminds me of Rihanna or Kylie Jenner in a way! I do feel like it's lacking something, like a choker or sheer turtleneck perhaps.

Green_lady_m - 7.33

FONTI - I like that you stayed on a casual look and how you incorporate an over sized denim within, still it is a bit boring outfit. This is a random outfit to go out to the supermarket as your bag indicates, still the fishnet tights look awkward. The colors is a fun surprise, not an amazing one though.

LUCY - It's funny, because the colour palette looks rather a lot like AshleighDana's (I don't think that was intended though :) It definitely does look more cohesive in greyscale, and the porportions are great, but I wish there was more contrast - the skirt, jacket, and undershirt all ended up the same shade of grey, which looses a lot of the details and texture differences. It just ends up,  as Fonti said, boring.

LEIGH - I agree with everyone else -  I like the idea and the shapes but they just blend together.

Aniyah-xxxx -  7.38

FONTI - Very fine layering, mixing & matching. In a grey scale outfit you were inspired to show your finest textiles and laces and I am impressed with the result and your different approach. With lights back to normal, there are not surprises, you look exactly the same, apart the bag and that leads to points deduction unfortunately.

LUCY - By the time you've scrolled this far, I think you'll see one big, missing element - all the colour!

LEIGH - This loks stunning both ways, but that wasn't really the goal. And the one pop of colour you have is the item I think doesn't belong with this look, the bag! All the textures and layers are awesome, but there's no 'wow' for the grey you can't also see in colour.

The last two week's tasks have majorly shaken up the rankings! With the help of her previous week's win, AshleighDana once again get the top spot. BibikaEmonik, however, failed to submit and is eliminated.

  1. ashleighdana - 7.66 + 0.5 = 8.16
  2. green_lady_m - 8.03
  3. lostjetty - 7.41 + 0.25 = 7.61
  4. alma1902 - 7.5
  5. aniyah-xxxx - 7.25
  6. xmackennax - 7
  7. asb10 - 6.58
  8. Bueno-koekje_xx - 5.1
  9. bibikaemonik

ASB10 - 6.58

FONTI -  It is a kinda magnificent outfit but it does not seem a lot like an insta-post to me, same issue as with Alma's entry. Beige with blue is not an easy combination, you look beautiful though in these tones, even if the materials of the clothes do not fit to each other. The jewelry is a bit over the top, especially the tiara.

LUCY - What item are you supposed to be matching here? Your description is all over the place! You're supposed to pick a single piece, not decorate an entire room, and frankly, the outfit doesn't match anything here properly. It's pretty enough an outfit, sure, but not what we were looking for.

LEIGH - Too much stuff!!!! One item, not a million, and even with all of them, this doesn't really match any of it to me. It's too glam for the couch, the denim is too casual and shaggy for the chalice.  The accessories are way too much all packed in around her face. And I can't really say anything good about the dress because anybody can put a dress on and look fine, so I can't find anything here that's really worth talking nice about, sorry.

LOSTJETTY - 7.41

FONTI - A very realistic interpretation of an insta-post, the matching of the hoodie with the bed is an WOW one. I love the sneakers, the bag, your look does match the theme so much! Your accessories in point, but perhaps I wouldn't layer the socks. Fascinating work.

LUCY -  To me, this does not match - or sell - the product at all. You could have gone with a pajama outfit, which you didn't. You could have gone monochrome, which you didn't. You could have matched the prints - which you sort of did, with the shirt, but it's hardly enough. Then there's the issue of bulk - the chunky jacket, wide pants, big bags and badly place visor are too much 'big' in one outfit. No Instagram girl would be caught dead wearing something so unflattering. There's definitely elements of instacelebrity in it, but I wouldn't give her gram a follow for it.

LEIGH - I'm rather stuck between Lucy and Fonti. I do like the idea of it, but the result, eh, not really. Like Lucy I don't really think it makes sense - she doesn't look like someone who is using the bed, but she also doesn't look like someone trying to 'sell' it.  It does look like an instagram outfit, but more like a day out with friends than someone who'd be anywhere near a bed.

ANIYAH-XXXX - 7.25

FONTI - Adorable vintage radio promotion! Your outfit is a bit extremely glittering for insta or for electronics, but somehow it works, maybe the colors help and that your layered laces have a retro feeling and not an event one. I don't like the studded sandals.

LUCY - Once again, this task wasn't meant to be a decor comp - you were supposed to pick a single item and go with it and, much like ASB10, your outfit and descriptions don't really lean towards one items more than any other. I thought I wrote up the task clearly, but seemingly, I wasn't specific enough. The shoes are honestly horrific and need to be recycled as soon as you read this. I like the concept of making a maxi skirt into a layered dress, but the varying browns and beiges - particularly the belt - are off putting.

LEIGH - Oh boy. Again, we were meaning for you to style one bit, not a room full. Like Fonti I'd have liked this better if you'd gone more casual, which the whole 'sitting room' of items imply, instead of this stuck-between thing. I don't like the belt, the shoes, or the bird brooch which looks terribly awkward. And the glasses are just... no. The colours are nice and like Lucy I like the dress-skirt thing, but this is really a miss besides.

Bueno-koekje_xx - 5.1

FONTI - Mmm I like the bold simplicity of your look, it has power and dynamics, it is MJ established! It is not a perfume look but once it is for insta, let's say it's an alternative one. I like you picked up items, there's not much layers as usually in your outfits, but the outcome is a really cool one.

LUCY - I think you missed so many major things - the perfume is very distinctly gold and floral themed, and your outfit is decidedly silver and printless, which is unfortunate. Not only does this not look like the perfume, it doesn't look like the kind of glam girl who would use it. You also used the literal Wang tribute mannequin pairing of top and bottom, which is so completely unoriginal.  I really don't know what else to say about this.

LEIGH - I IMMEDIATELY saw that it was the same combo as the mannequin, and honestly this is just lazy all over. No layering, average accessories, and worse still, you made it in the plaza so the items would have been pretty obvious the two bits went together already. There's no floral, no gold, no layering, nothing about this is original or similar enough to the perfume to make me not scream 'COPYING.' No, no, and just no.

Green_lady_m - 8.03

FONTI - Wow, here's a different approach than the other ladies'! I like your vibes and you look like a Harley girl. I feel like there's something missing, maybe gloves, maybe tattoos, not sure! However, you did a fine styling, persuasive for your big bike lady.

LUCY - even with the extra tire and lights, it's very obvious the kind of look - and matching item - that you are going for. I think the shiny pants are a nice addition, because in an all-black outfit, textures make a big difference. Like Fonti, I think you could probably have done with a tattoo or something for that final piece of edge.

LEIGH - I don't adore the look but it does match the bike well, I think it's maybe the 'girls' jacket that throws me off it, maybe a red lipstick could have pulled that in more for me. If I saw a choker-wearing, leather-pantsed instagrammer on a motorbike, I'd follow her immediately!

ALMA1902 - 7.5

FONTI -  Beautiful styling and makeover Alma. I could imagine this as an insta post only for Kim, it's too royal for insta in my opinion, same as I stated for ASB. However, your layers are super fine, same as with the colors, the textures, the jewelries. What do not fit in my opinion are the shoes, too plastic for the look.

LUCY - I actually think it's the perfect amount of glam - because plenty of insatgrammers and celebrities on the 'gram, post pics in their pre-party gowns. I love the textures, and the layers, particularly the spotted tulle going with the round chandelier baubles.

LEIGH - I don't know if I like the top half much, but the layered skirts are perfect and the chandelier was a smart choice.

ASHLEIGHDANA - 7.66

FONTI - Cute look but not too cohesive in details. I like the trench, the bag and the boots (even if they don't look quite comfortable). I like the idea of a pleated skirt but this one is not the right one (wrong brown). I like the idea of a floral blouse but your layered top is not quite a good one. The entry should have been worked further.

LUCY - What I don't like here is the layered tops - while I get that you wanted to put florals into it, the 'pretty' shirt seems like it would have been plenty on it's own. I love the logic behind the shoes, I like the colours of everything you've chosen too.

LEIGH - Meanwhile I really love this! I ride my bike and the thought you put into the description and choice of items is perfect to me, there's nothing like a long jacket, slight heel, and cuteness to really make a bike ride fun. I like the top layers! And the earrings look like bike wheels.  I think the bag is not perfect, but not awful.

XMACKENNAX - 7

FONTI - It's a weird item the one you picked up but I like it, it has potentials. Potentials that you didn't reach I'm afraid. Your outfit should be more modern. Instead of going for neutral cold tones of blue-gray-white you went for a silver-ish outfit with not finely matched textures. I would possibly keep the white mini dress and the heels and would change all the rest.

LUCY - I feel like you chose a great item, and a nice starting point, and then really ruined it with the accessories. I like the dress, top, and I think the underskirt could have worked if it was a different colour, as it does match the shape of the lights. This certainly isn't the worst gold-and-silver combo ever, but it's a long way from being the best.

LEIGH - Yeah, girl, you kinda overdid it on the sparkles. I feel like you could ditch the necklace, maybe use a smaller bag, and then you'd be good to go. Maybe use some earrings? I don't know, the idea was there, just not the end outfit.

Sunday, 29 July 2018

It's feedback time! We scored both your groups, and as individuals. The final scores of each user (listed below) is an average of the two.

Unfortunately, we do have to say goodbye to CharmedAvenger this time, while AshleighDana takes top individual score, earning +0.5 next week, and her team came out on top, so lostjetty, her team mate and second place winner, gets  +o.25 bonus for next week.
  1. AshleighDana - 8.75
  2. Lostjetty - 8.66
  3. ASB10 - 7.45 + 0.5 = 7.95
  4. Alma1902 - 7.64
  5. Aniyah-xxxx - 7.39
  6. Bueno-koekje_xx - 7.12
  7. Green_lady_m - 7.04
  8. xmackennax - 6.12
  9. BibikaEmonik - 6.06
  10. CharmedAvenger - 5.75

Charmed_avenger + ASB10 - 6.83

LUCY - Purple and yellow was a bold, interesting, and very unique choice. I have a pet peeve about colours that almost - but don't quite - match, and both your looks are problematic. Charmedavenger doesn't seem to know what season it is, with a raincoat but an exposed bra. ASB10 has some very nice texture details and an interesting silhouette.

LEIGH - Neither of these do much for me. I don't like yellow and purple together though you did try something unique as Lucy said so props for the idea. But there's so little going on in CharmedAvenger's look and again, the bra+jacket is just so random. ASB10 has layers, which is good, but the rest... idk. I'm just not a fan, it remind me of a clown.

FONTI - To start with the good news, ASB's entry is my top entry of the task! I adore the innovative uncommon style here, you have an eye for the difference! I miss a silver belt, but I love all the items you intentionally and carefully put on you in this lovely quirky outfit! As for Charmed's entry it kinda belongs not to a team outfit but to another planet I'm afraid. The styling is poor, the items have no interest, no efforts in here in general. And you don't look like a team at all, that's my opinion, sorry.

Aniyah-xxxx + Alma1902 - 7.58

LUCY - I like the concept, and the way you've matched details and textures as opposed to simply cloning things. I love that, while the pieces are similar, you've layered them differently (boots under/over jeans for example). The difference between the all-black and all-colour is a bit hard on the eyes though, and I don't love Aniyah's bulky bag with a bulky jacket.

LEIGH - I love, love, love the way you both have similar - yet different - layers! Like Lucy I think the black/red contrast is too severe, it maybe would have been nice to swap bags ... or not, because I don't really like either of these big bags on already bold looks.

FONTI - What an A-wesome entry! I adore Aniyah's outfit, these flying birds over her drives me crazy! Tha black background is a huge support for your team submission, what a cool idea! Also I love your squad's name 'Da Vinci', so artistic! Aniyah supports the project way stronger for my opinion, Alma's outfit is finely worked but looks more poor in creativity. I have a difficult time to match these outfits together under a theme, however the common criteria I can surely see is the artistic approach, plus the secret denim bottom. However, you look fascinating, so I'll go for it!

BibikaEmonik + XmackennaX - 6

LEIGH - Oh no no no no no no no no no. Did you not read the instructions? Or look at the inspo? Like, at all? BibikaEmonik set the scene, and completely neglected the one constant rule of the cycle- S T R E E T STYLE. Not glamour, not editorial, STREET STYLE. Poor XmackennaX - she's not well, and I know from previous cycles that she hates both beige and glamour, yet she had to pull something together to match Bibikaemonik - and somehow, her bulky coat and bag, however awkward, are at least a bit more on the casual side that all-out glam. It's a shame really, since BibikaEmonik isn't giving us a bad outfit, it's just totally not on the cycles' theme at all.

FONTI - I had bigger expectations from your team and I am very disappointed that I have to give you now a low score. Even if your outfits are out of theme, they don't look good, nor as separated outfits or as a team entry. Bad fitting, unflattering colors, weird shapes, poor styling. Where is your enthusiasm, your team's name, your description? I feel like you just wanted to get it done with no efforts.

LUCY - Oh, uh. The other two have really covered everything. Our exemplars, blog and pres should  make it pretty clear we want something street-style. BibikaEmonik didn't give us a bad look, honestly - it's just absolutely against theme, and really, XmackennaX just pulled off what she could from it, is what that look seems like. It's a shame really.

Bueno-koekje_xx & Green_lady_m - 7.16

FONT-  Hmm, this is an interesting entry, based on some cool ideas (pink clutches, pink feathers, high healed sandals, diamonds!). I like it in general, it's just that the result does not fascinate me that much! The quality level of the 2 outfits is the same more or less, there are styling efforts, textures and layers and I appreciate these standards for being kept. I don't feel your team's vibes however, a description maybe would help but there isn't any. I also think that the use of blue should be in both of you or in none of you. To conclude with another detail, Green's look is more fashioned where Bueno's is more sophisticated. You kinda had it but you kinda lost it. However, it is not a bad team work, I just feel like you didn't try much to nail it.

LEIGH - The feather and lace details are nice, but like Fonti I'm not super into it and the blue in one without either more blue or a contrast colour in the other is off putting. It was a nice idea, but the result is, just a little off.

LUCY - First issue, the shoes. If you're going to wear different shoes, either go totally different, or do the same, not this in-between pairing ... which sums up pretty much this whole pairing. You have some cool elements going on, I like the textures and shapes going on, but you've got this not-quite-twins, not-quite-friends thing going on.

UBER.Girlz.NYC - 8.91

FONTI - What a F-abulous team work for you two! The great thing is that you both look like coming out of a NYC stylista's dressing room! Not like twins, but so equal fashionable! I can see how hard you have worked to nail this task, and in my opinion you look so cohesive as a real double-trouble! You both have sufficient layers, eye-catchy pieces of clothing, you look indeed as a serious girls' squad. You chose a safe base, there is not that much of an innovative creativity for your project but it ends up in a very good piece of team-task work. Your team name, description and photo shoot earn the extra points needed for my judging.

LEIGH - And here is the duo I've been looking forward to the most, and boy did they pull it off too! The small pops of yellow and the little bit of brown is awesome, and you both have really subtle layered details I love. I don't totally dig the bags, though to be fair, stardoll really does not have much yellow items to begin with.

LUCY - Yes, yes, and yes!!! The team name, the various yellow, nude, leather, and check details make for an amazingly paired duo - yet, you both have such distinctly different styles. Like Leigh I don't entirely love the bags but again, yellow is just not very available on stardoll to begin with. I'm also glad you gave us both the edited background and the close-up, plaza versions.

Thursday, 12 July 2018

Sadly, Soff pulled out of judging, so our former manager Jenna (kittywaytocute) took over for now. We will be on the look out for a permanent replacement. Both Fonti and Luiza are on holiday, while Lucy and Leigh have had birthdays, so unfortunately this resulted in a few unintended delays, and we apologize for that!.
As your next task takes 2 weeks, we hope to find a permanent replacement judge before it is due. Unfortunately, we can't make any promises.

We also welcome Ashleighdana as a replacement for Dolphin316 as the next task required even numbers, and AD only missed out being a contestant by a coin flip! Unfortunately, we also have to eliminate someone - and, having not entered at all,  noismini is eliminated. This tasks winner, ASB10, receives +0.5 for her next score.

  1. ASB10 - 7.68
  2. Alma1902 - 7.5

Lucy - The lack of backpiece isn't bad, but I do think this could have benefited from a bag. I love the colour choices here, and the jacket is definitely a difficult shape to work with.

Leigh - I wouldn't have noticed the lack of backpiece if you hadn't mentioned it! But the lack of bag... I already don't like that belt, so maybe a fanny pack? And personally I don't really love this, to me it looks like two outfits, the pants+belt and top+jacket got all smushed together. The colours aren't working to me.

Soff - I love the way how you combined the colors, but I think a bag wouldn't be bad tho.As Lucy said also, the jacket looks perfect in your outfit. Good job dear!

Fonti - I love the jacket, it is awesome and an eye trap. Yet I would never match it with these pants. I gave the outfit a low score because I had to look twice to track the dots. I like the shoes' matching but I really miss a bag.

Lucy - This is somewhat plainer than what I had been expecting. I'm not the biggest fan of the top or the bag. It's definitely very summery and vibrant, and you've included sunglasses and earrings which is nice. I just hoped to see...more.

Leigh - Yeah, I'm with Lucy, this is weirdly plain looking. Without the prints I'd call it boring. Nice to see some small details but layers, even a belt or some sheer sleeves would have made this cooler.

Soff- The outfit would look great with another top. As Lucy and Leigh said above, this is a plain looking , but with a belt and another top would look better.

Fonti - I like your intention to risk with such intensive patterns. I like everything in your look and I feel that it wasn't so easy to make your mix&matching, still you've made it to captivate the attention. What I don't like is that I cannot put it in a place, the half of it would be place by the beach and some details (earrings & pumps) moves it late evening out.

Lucy - Why no bag? I love the various layered shirts and the addition of the 'sorry' pin. The two prints go very well together. I'm less happy with those shoes, I would have liked a more sporty, practical shoe since the rest of this is a very casual, hip-hop aesthetic.

Leigh - Oh those shoes, honey no. They're like circus stilts! And with the pants, your bottom half looks like a clowns! I like the top a lot and the pants could have been OK if not for those shoes. And like Lucy I wonder why not bag?

Soff - I would definitely change the shoes. With other shoes the outfit would look perfect. I like the pants and the top, but I was waiting for other shoes whatever. Good job sweetie!

Fonti - You depicted the theme in a simple, yet crystal clear way. Your style makes a difference and I like it. Be more careful with the right fitting (your dotted tulle top should be resized). Keep it up.

Leigh - What's with the long shirt and the belt in the middle?! No no no!! It looks so mid-2000s with the wide leg pants and that's NEVER good. And those sunglasses in, what, a winter look?  I actually really do love the colours in this, they're interesting and subtle. But everything else is just... not good.

Lucy - Hooo boy. Honestly, I think Leigh's comment nailed this for me. The belt in the middle of a tunic is so random - heck, the fact you picked a tunic with flared pants just screams of something Ashley Tisdale would wear in 2005. And we'd all like to forget about that era. Honestly, if you'd just put the tunic under the pants and put the belt there, it would have been so, so much better.

Soff - I like how you combined the colors dear, but with these belt in the middle it really don't look good in the outfit. As Leigh said, it would never work with the wide leg pants.

Fonti  - It is a look influenced from earlier decade as other judges stated but I really like it. Your colors and patterns look so finely combined to me. There are a few details that I loved, such as the choice of your bag-belt-pumps. I would possibly change the top with a chiffon blouse to make it a more safe entry, but not that I really mind yours that much.

Lucy -  If this was in your suite, I wouldn't mention it, but since you're in the plaza and have free hair available, I have to say this wig was not your best choice. And I'm not a fan of those shoes. But, I'm glad we can welcome you to the cycle, because I love your use of pastels against black! And you've made wonderfully subtle use of the prints and textures here too.

Leigh - I like the patterns, and really do love the jacket. But is there not nearly too much going on with this?  A plainer bag and shoe would have made the jacket look more important which is what stand out to me with this. I don't mind the hair that much, it's short so we can see your whole look.

Fonti - I like your inner suite in blue. The dots' top looks weird to me, like you put it there only because of the task, even if it does not make sense. The bag is ok. But if you wear a raincoat then what are you doing with these open toe heeled sandals. It is a very confusing outfit for me.

Jenna - I like the pink and not the blue haha, I am more of a barbie than bratz doll. I like the layered top but it makes you shoe and bottom plain. Dislike like the choker much too.

Lucy -  I don't know how to feel about this. I really love this in some ways... but I'm not totally sure the top and pants work together! I would have either used plainer pants, or a plainer top, but then I suppose it would not longer meet the task requirements. Which is a shame, since I love your use of colour here, white boots and jackets are difficult to pull off and you definitely do.

Leigh - I actually like the top and pants!  Personally I would have wanted more details here, like earrings and a belt. But the white and red pop out very well and the shirt layers are very crafty.

Fonti - Interesting outfit. I would look at it on the streets. I like the choice of these trousers combined with your dotted up part, cause it is like an impressionistic approach of the task. The blazer with the booties look super fine. The bag is ok.

Jenna - I like this all a lot :) Maybe not the red lipstick with red hair but that's not a judging matter since it's not really bad or stopping the look at all. Yay!

Lucy -  So, one thing I always advise is to read through other people's feedback - because just like Dolphin316 last week, you've totally failed to crop your doll properly. It's not something we score for, but it's definitely very annoying as it makes your outfit seem a lot smaller and makes it harder to see the details in it. But as for your outfit, you've triggered one of my biggest pet peeves - putting gold and silver together by accident. If not for the tassel, you would have been ok, and I would have preferred red earrings or shoes to it anyhow. I love the top half of this with the layering of the sleeves, but the bag is far more casual than this outfit deserves.

Leigh - Crop, girl, come on! Clearly you can, so why do it so big? It's not like you even have anything in that room so why show it? Like Lucy said we loose out the details. The choice of prints is really well done and the black-and-white really looks good on you. I like the layering too but for me the accessories are just a no. The bag is too relaxed, the pops of red just look random and unbalanced,  and I don't like such a floaty belt with the structure of the rest.

Fonti - Hmm. Interesting outfit. I like you chose to invest on a Black&White look. Your custom made top is cute and looks even more cute with your pencil skirt. I love your belt and bag. Safe shoes' choice. Smart burgundy pop us. It is not a fascinating outfit to drive me crazy but it is a safe one, so I'll buy it.

Jenna - Yes, I think this is a safe one, the patterns look good as they are but then your items with it are a big no no. The red is very badly placed and the bag is too much chunky and relaxed.

Fonti - It is a cool dress, so it's ok that you decided to invest on it ! But why didn't you try on styling it a bit and make something more unique with it ? I feel like it could never be matched with this coat, unless maybe if you had tried more with your accessories to be somewhere in the middle of these two. Very basic entry, you should have worked it more.

Lucy - I'm not a fan of this. I wish you'd broken up all the prints with something, a belt of a layer between them perhaps. The choker is very gothic which makes absolutely no sense with an otherwise business-lady outfit, and paired with the glasses and earrings there's far too much going on around your head. I'll give you props for trying to combine two very awkward items - the dress and jacket - but it just did not pay off.

Leigh - Oh. Well this is ... underwhelming. But also overwhelming, because Lucy nailed it with the accessories, it's all too much and the choker doesn't go. I like that you tried to combine the tiger and spot prints which no-one else has, but that's about it.

Jenna - Oh no :( I see red and black are popular with the cycle now but that makes your looks seem worse when you see the others do the same better. The choker is very bad. The prints were brave but only that is very good. I think you should learn using the plaza and imgur instead and give us a good look that way.

Lucy - What the hell did you do when you cropped this??? What's with the big white, unnecessary square?! Go read Dolphin316's feedback from last week... or Green_Lady_M's this week. The only time a lack of cropping is excusable is if you used the stardoll camera like Charmed_Avenger, but you all used imgur so what's your excuse??? Argh. Anyway, this outfit is somewhat reminiscent of something I've done, and the shapes look a lot like xmackennax's - that's not a bad thing, because I like it, it's just very well-used at the moment. I like the pops of red and the accessories are well done, I don't love the bag but I can live with it.

Leigh - Lucy's done the cropping rant for me, but seriously, I'd like to know why you added the big white square! I just can't figure out your reasoning there. Anyway, I personally am not the biggest fan of the very wide, loose sleeves with the already wide pants, and I don't like the bag much. I do like the necklace and red pops a lot, and the layering around the top.

Jenna - Oh no no, why the white space???  Your look is nice enough, not my style I think so I don't know much I can say here. Again, red and black are on and I think I could get very sick of seeing it this cycle but you aren't the only one with it. Like Leigh I don't like loose top with bottoms. The layers are nice though.

Fonti - Your black to black choice of polka-dots trousers' does not exactly scream for polka-dots' attention! I had to check twice to track the dots, so somehow you have missed the point for me! However, you have a good styling, a fine mix&matching of your clothes, it looks like a cute French style and safe layering.

Lucy - Loose on loose is just not flattering, at all. Which is a shame, since I like how experimental this is in other aspects. It's very coachella - with a hint of grunge perhaps. The colours are intriguing and the patterns are subtle but definitely there. I don't think the bangles were really needed given how bulky the bag is.

Leigh - I'm with Lucy, loose-on-loose just makes you look like you're trying to hide something, it's not flattering. But the patterns and textures are cool and I love the sorta festival-witch vibe.

Jenna- This is different! I love paisley and purples but I think Leigh's 'festival-witch' is good for it. Your accessorize confuse me with the chunky bits and then fines bits, better to pick one style I think.

Fonti -  You have used the same trousers as BibikaEmonik, the one with the hard-to-track dots and as I said before to Bib. I would have expected a more intensive choice of dots. However you have done a great styling in here! I love it looks like a vintage interpretation, I like the use of purple, the long necklace, the hat, everything. Awesome styling.
